Maintaining a clean and secure campus requires attentiveness, consistency, and a team that understands the unique needs of the community it serves.

cSG partnership

Campus Services Group was selected to provide comprehensive maintenance, custodial, and grounds services across campus facilities.

From the outset, the focus extended beyond appearance to supporting a safe, fully operational environment integrated into the school’s daily routines and culture.

A dedicated onsite leadership presence, structured inspection processes, proactive repairs and exterior upkeep, preventative maintenance programs, and consistent coordination with school leadership ensure reliable performance across the entire campus.

Safety & Injury Reduction

Working with school leadership and risk management, CSG implemented structured safety practices to prevent incidents.

Key Focus Areas

Immediate response to spills and hazards
Traffic-aware cleaning schedules between class transitions
Entryway moisture control during weather events
Consistent floor care to prevent slips and falls
Staff awareness training for occupied environments
Daily inspections and documented follow-through

The measurable reduction in claims reinforced that consistent environmental care directly supports student and staff safety.

Service Beyond Cleaning

In a communication-centered learning environment, connection matters as much as consistency.

CSG team members chose to learn basic American Sign Language so they could greet students, faculty, and staff, offer simple directions, and interact naturally throughout the day. What began as a practical effort to communicate quickly became something more meaningful, creating daily moments of recognition, comfort, and belonging across the campus community.

“Saw Philip walking out of the HOS building. He signed Happy Thanksgiving. I wanted to let you know that it made my heart sing. Was really proud of him!
Jaime Eustace-Tecklin, M.Ed | Supervisor of Transition Programs

Why It Matters

At specialized educational campuses, safety and belonging are closely connected. When the environment is consistent and well cared for, students, faculty, and staff move through their day with greater confidence and fewer disruptions.

The outcome is more than a well-maintained campus. It is a setting where routines feel predictable, communication feels natural, and trust is strengthened through everyday interactions across the entire campus community.

“The CSG Team consistently demonstrate a proactive approach in ensuring that the campus remains aesthetically pleasing, while promptly addressing the diverse needs of our staff.”
Melissa S. Draganac-Hawk | Head of School
